We'll be in Section 109. Dead in the heart of Cat country! Using tix by one of the biggest Cat boosters out there! :)

this is pretty common. most of the big boosters have their boxes and whatnot, but often have as many as 10+ together in section 109. not sure why that seems to be the most popular section for these "extra" seats. i'll be in 109 as well. :thumb:

I'll be the guy taking a shot of Jack Daniels' every time the Griz score!

so if i wanted to meet you i'll just look for the guy with a full flask of jack?

oh crap....field goals count as scores. i'm an idiot. that's like 5+ shots right there....

8-)

I'll be pretty easy to spot. :) Any score counts. I have a feeling my liver is going to hate me this weekend! (Well, more than usual that is)

me too man. and i'm just screwing with ya. have safe travels and i hope you enjoy your weekend in bozeman. gonna be a hell of a game.

This weekend might be worse on your liver than the App St. game and the night of a million vodka red bulls combined! I hope you're ready! See you tomorrow!

For those who are making the pilgramage over to the Zone the day of the game, I'd recommend taking the Main Street exit off I-90. The 19th st exit will probably be backed up all the way from campus to the interstate. Additionally, I'd recommend parking in the "pay" (no fees are collected on weekends) lot down by the Student Union Building, as it will likely be a little safer for your vehicles than parking in main dorm parking lot...Most of the people who park in this lot are older, have families, and are generally sober. The SUB is also a good place to hit a clean/warm bathroom and a coffee/espresso/hot chocolate before heading up to the tailgates.

Directions:
After exiting take a right on Main Street, a left on highland blvd, and a right on Kagy, right on Willson, left on Grant. This will take you to the "pay" parking lot (7th and Grant). It's a little bit of a walk to the tailgate area (probably 1/4 of a mile) but not that big of a deal. I think the Grizzly Alumni tailgate is generally located on the practice field at 7th and Kagy. The MSU tailgate lot is going to be rediculous...enter at your own risk.

Getting out of the lot is always slow....not sure if UM radio broadcasts the game in Bozeman, but the MSU station is 100.7 fm if you want to listen to postgame stats/interviews while leaving the lot.

I think this will help to avoid most of the drunk students and hopefully any confrontations.

Griz fans, let me know if you have any other questions......Cat fans, am I missing anything?

One other tip. If you plan to tailgate in the standard (non booster) lot you can only carry in one beer.

Here's a bump from 2011.

Bumping this for any newbies making the trip over tomorrow. The only edit is that the pay parking lot is now a multi tiered parking garage. I recommend parking there.
