When to get tickets?

I know this probably seems like a dumb question, but...

Being in the marching band for the last several years, I haven't ever had to buy tickets for a game. For those of us who will be driving over the morning of the game & need to get decent tickets, what is the best course of action?

Thanks in advance.

Don't know what game you are planning on attending. Supply of tickests does depend on the game. Normally there are 20-40 people waiving tickets for sale in the area between the walking bridge and the fieldhouse. Most are for sale at face value. Should be there at least 2 hours before the game and have a good understanding of the various stadium sections.

So basically your best bet is to just look for scalpers? What about the season opener? I'm sure it will be a sell out... so any suggestions?

In my 10+ years of having season tix I've never seen a game where tix weren't available on the street (usually face value or less)..... that includes the kitten games (more markup for those tix generally)..... you will be fine..... also try the ticket forum on here :thumb:

If you are looking at the opener, there will be a lot of tickets available on the street. I just looked at the Griz Ticket Forum, just below the Griz Football Forum, and someone has 4-6 tickets up for sale now. Might want to check that out.

I've occasionally had to sell extra tickets and there are always plenty of tickets for sale in front of the field house. It is actually pretty hard to get rid of extras sometimes.

Up until I got my season tix last year I bought tix from scalpers for all but 5 of 30 or so games I was able to attend. Usually face value no big deal. Also, this site has a ticket section where people list theirs and I bought my cat/griz tickets on there a two years ago. There are always tickets available. Some games are just more expensive than others.

I remember several years ago, when they changed companies that printed the tix, we didn't recieve ours until like the tuesday of gameweek. Talk about sweating bullets!!!

Anybody gotten theirs yet? I have not seen mine.

I need two tickets (seated together) for the Homecoming game, for two UM alums from Phoenix visiting me that weekend. They are willing to pay a price above face value. Anybody got two to sell?

It is you who needs to pay attention. I said that I would moon anyone I see stalking me and taking videos of me at practice. Only reference to the moon.
