I would have to say, Last Saturdays a thing of the past. It's a new day and game today. We're starting over at zero. Let's storm out of the tunnel and show our united campaign is strong. Play with your heart, show no pain or fear. Show no mercy and show the animal that we are. Show your heart of a Grizzly!

Judging by the article with Kidder's comments, the kids know how serious this game and every game from here on out is. Not sure you would need to say anything motivational and keep it to game instruction. Pretty sure the team is ready to set the tone for the rest of the season. Tomorrow will tell what kind of a team this is from a mental point of view.

Love to hear something like Wayne Tinkle said before one of the BSC tournament games this past season. Something about playing for every player that had played before you. I wish I could remember it. I loved when ESPN played it a few times.

That cupcake game was the worst thing ever. Not a lot of effort or focus required. Kids screwing off afterward-hermanson getting shitfaced and arrested and god knows who was with him. The team lost focus and got humiliated by a team that didn't. Week off turned into an off week.
This week will be different. No pep talks required.
