What part of the game will Bobby put his personal touch on?

Defense.

I am hopeful that this will be the biggest change we see. The turnover margin, that is mentioned above, is largely part of the defense. Yes, offense needs to manage the game and protect the ball, but none of that means anything if the defense isn't getting takeaways inside of enemy territory.

Since BHs return, there has been all kinds of talk about his history. All of the talk about the successful seasons, but one thing stands out among all of those stats: The players who made it to the NFL. Which side of the ball were they on?

Ball control. Clock and game management. Minimizing turnovers. Improved special teams play. Solid defense with the ability to defend 3rd and 30! :thumb:

If half of this comes true this season, we'll be a contender for sure. Let's get this thing started!

Go Griz!

Special teams will obviously be on point with Bobby, but watch the development of the defensive secondary, specifically the safety position. Bobby consistently produced high level safeties that played with the combination of discipline and aggressiveness that encapsulates Bobby’s mantra of ‘Montana Tough’.

I am looking forward to better management with the ball. I am so glad we will be punting in certain situations also and not going for it on fourth and forever on the 45.

Both. ... Improvement in defense and special teams will be huge, but recruiting will be even bigger. Hauck had 20 players play in the NFL (including players that played for him and players that he recruited that finished later). After he left — and stopped recruiting — there has only? been Tyrone Holmes.
