well, both the media and the coaches are saying the same thing: montana has talent. second-best in the conference, at least. i think the 2008 and 2009 recruiting classes, taken together, are probably the best in the big sky--and we still have one commitment to get.

now the bigger question: can tinks and staff get the most out of this talent?

i'm a big believer in tinks as ambassador for the university, and as recruiter. but this is the year we need to see his progress on the court, as a coach, as a leader, as the boss. i predict we will. as i've said before, technicalities aside, i would be giving him a three year contract, now.

Hmmm, now, the cats being picked second to last makes me giggle, but I just don't see it. I think they are better than that. I sure hope we can live up to the second ranking and more!
