The Howard College Hawks fell short to a trip to the National Tournament by losing to South Plains College 80-72 in the Region Five Championship game. The Hawks finished the season at (25-8). Assistant coach Jason Sautter had a chance to tell JucoJunction that Sean Watson and Corey Allmond are both wide open in the recruiting process this spring.

Sean Watson
Watson is (SO) 6-foot-5 (180) from Brooklyn, NY. Watson played his high school ball at Sheepshead Bay High School. Watson had verbaled to Montana last season but decided to return to Big Spring, TX this season and play for the Hawks again.
"Sean only has one year left of basketball no matter what level he plays at," said Sautter.
Watson was an all-conference and all-region performer for the Hawks this season. Sean averaged 22.1 ppg, 7.1 rebounds and 2.2 steals while shooting 59% from the floor.
"Watson a very versatile wing player can play multiple positions on the floor and has done so this season for the Hawks playing the 1-4 positions at times," said Sautter.
Sean was 6-foot-0 (155) just three years ago.
"Sean's best basketball is still in front of him," said Sautter.
Watson has scored 1,043 career points while playing in 59 career games at Howard College.
