What do you think?

If the Griz moved up to FBS and played harder opponents, would the Griz have a better shot at beating FBS programs?

I think they would, the Griz play pretty good against these harder opponents and I think if they had more time playing other teams they could improve and have good runs to a championship. Being in the BSC is just holding us back. The Griz could greatly improve in FB and BB. The coaches we have are amazing, we just don't have the talent. Being in FBS would get us a lot more recruits and scholarships. Plus kids loving being on TV more. The Griz don't get much coverage till they are in playoffs or anything of that sort. But, that is just my opinion. What do you think?

I think it would improve the basketball team but potentially RUIN Griz football.

Be afraid. Be very afraid of challenge...

tough to say....

1) Harvard lost by 9
2) Davidson lost by 7
3) UNC Ashville lost by 7
4) Long Beach St lost by 7

...and the Griz lost by 24 I don't think any of those team play much more difficult conference schedules.

All of those schools have played very tough OOC schedules. Each playing at least 2 top 25 teams. I do think that helps in terms of preperation for the tournament. We hadn't played anyone anywhere close to the calibre of Wisconsin this year.

This was one game. Wisconsin shot the lights out from 3 in the first half. Montana played its worst game of the season. The Badgers are not 24 points better than the Griz. But they were today. If they played again, it might be an entirely different game. i don't think the Griz would win, but I think the final score would look much more like the games listed above.

Not really, I'd guess beating CGF by 1 was that game that one could call the worst. Wisco plays and often beats top ten teams and they always have weaknesses "athletically". Ryan is a great coach, had more depth and we did not play our best today.

Will needs to learn from this game. I thought he took all the Taylor/Cherry head to head stuff too seriously. Taylor, like he has all year has placed team before his own numbers, which are down yet a Badger team with the loss of a pro (Leuer) is right back there. I think Will thought he had to make a statement and it didn't work out. Love Will and he plays so hard, just not so smart today. Will beat Taylor off the dribble on numerous occaisions but rarely did it result in points, head down, not looking to pass, blocked shots, no Griz points.

I think he can step up and improve his game , can't wait for next year.

Agreed, but it really doesn't matter. If you want to build a program, you have to take advantage of the few opportunities when the spotlight is shining on you. Not necessarily win but not get beat like a rented mule. I don't know what the problem was, but this was a big game and excluding Art Stewart, we were not ready to play on the big stage.
