What are the player's reaction?

As I have seen, Simis is really excited about the hire, but I am wondering what the other players are thinking.

Have any of you who stock the players herd or seen on twitter their reaction.

On other threads a few tweets from recruits were posted. The only other current player I recall posting to twitter was the LB from Glasgow. He making fun of how Delaney did not know what Twitter was, and Stitt does. I guess that is a good sign.

Good. The WR's and QB's are really excited. Many of the players that we have on the team are players that were recruited for a speed-spread offense. Mick even when recruiting, has not just been recruiting power. He has been scolded for that. Look at the incoming class we have, mostly explosive players, less power. I know a few of the Defensive guys are on the fence. They are glad coach G is staying because they love him and his intensity. They are excited for a little more offensive support. A few upcoming seniors are worried about being on the field a lot this next year. The main problem with speed-spread offense is that if they are not putting up points, they are giving the ball back very quick.

QB Makenna Simis (who I believe will be very special) tweeted "Big time hire! I love it!!".

DT Caleb Kidder, was on the Fox tv news last night, saying that he was speaking for the team when he said they are "very excited".

Regardless of how you feel about the hire, he runs the kind of offense kids want to play in these days. I'd be surprised if any of the current or incoming players are genuienly upset with the decision.

Luckily your actions/opinion have no direct correlation towards the feelings of the actual players. :roll:

I don't get that comment? Are you saying the team is not excited because a majority of the players aren't going to social media to express their happiness?? I grew up in the social media frenzy and I do not post on Twitter and rarely on FB? Some people have better things to do like post on Egriz.

The only point I'm making is when is the last time a player made a negative comment about a Griz coach hire.
