This weekend was. The best game anyone could ask for, an electric football atmosphere, followed by the funnest time in downtown Missoula.
What a start to the Stitt era!!! In his 1st game, the only game in the spot light on national tv, what does Stitt do? He puts up his signature win!!! He has the college football nation talking about the GRIZ, our fans, and the experience.
Speaking of fans, I thank every fan who attended the game, and then was down town after the game. What a fun time, had by all!!! NDSU fans, you managed to do the impossible for this GRIZ fan. I down right hated the NDSU fan base before this game. You can all thank a few of your fans who posted here for that feeling. Got to admit, I had a great experience with you all at the game and down town after the game. I took the time to thank every NDSU fan I could for coming to this game, and wished them my best. Every damn one of them were gracious, friendly, kind, and easy to talk to. Thanks to the NDSU fans I socialized with this weekend, you did the impossible, you got this GRIZ fan to not only respect your program (always have respected your program), but earned my respect for your fan base. Before the game, my main desire was for the GRIZ to beat the BIZON just to get on egriz and tell your fan base off, because of the sour taste a few of your posters here gave me.
Thankfully, that is not the case. I am happy I could do a complimentary post to your fans and team. NDSU you are all class. We need to do it again, more often. Good luck NDSU and hope you had a safe trip home.
Finally, thank you Hammer and CClarkblues for great tailgates. Hammer can verify how badly I wanted the GRIZ to beat the Bizon, just for the sake of bringing a few Bizon egrizzers down quite few notches. Both fan bases have plenty to be proud of. :thumb:
