West vs Capital -- Repeat of last year's championship game

Should be a great AA HS state championship game. Fourth championship game in a row that Billings has hosted I believe.

West replaced 20 starters from last year's team and still made it this far. This is the year to beat them as the next couple of classes are loaded with athletes.

I pick west, due to their defense, by a field goal in an overtime win. Capital will be out for revenge though.

West has stepped it up on the defensive side of the ball but their offense has been up and down. It is amazing that they are in championship with the one starter from last year's team on both offense and defense.

Next year the Muri kid will probably move into the QB spot so the offense should be better next year. I have been told that he will be alot like Desin from a running standpoint but probably a better thrower. His whole family are Cat's and someone told me that his dad once had an 80 yard punt return for the Cat's against the Griz back in the late 70's.

Capital will win if their offense doesn't turn the ball over because their D is scary good. Helena High was +5 in turnovers and lost. That still kills me and will for a long time. If capital doesn't shoot themselves in the foot, then they will win. But hopefully the gun will be loaded against West. :thumb:
