These guys have presided over one of the dirtiest programs in the country for too long. I warned all of you that Blewhard would do nothing to change this culture and would send the program into this type of slog. We all know what type of contribution Jimbo, Hauck, and numerous others have made with the hotlines to Uncle M, coverups, and other assorted idiocies.

Here we are. A watershed moment to do the right thing and hire people who get things done the proper way. I look forward to contributing cash once again to a clean, winning program on and off the field.

Alpha, not saying I disagree, I am just getting a little tired of the 400 posters playing the "I told you so" game. Anyone that did not see the deep rooted problems within the program could not separate the hue of trouble through their maroon colored glasses from the shades of a clean, problem free program.
 
Gonna be interesting to see if the NCAA gets involved and if so would there be sanctions that would involve scollies and playoffs... if so, there could be a wholesale exodus of players and the recruiting possibilities could be down to the Missoula Phoenix...
 
Even more interesting to see if they bother to ask a question such as: "If a player was accused of sexual assault would you publicly tell everyone how fired up you and your crew are about having him on the field even though the matter had not run its course?"

That would be a good start.

You could be right. But I have been accused before of being this guy. The mods have confirmed that I am not. I want to make it clear. Although, I do agree with what he is saying in this thread.

i know this: Blewhard made it 2 years as the coach of UM which is actually a year shorter than I figured he would last. Richard Simmons could take over the helm and chalk up at least as many wins as Blew given Montana's inherent advantages. Blew was a LOOOOONG career assistant for a reason, and he clearly was far too afraid of stopping the idiocies for fear his one shot at a head job would go down the tubes.
