Weber State, addition by Subtraction?

I just heard Franklin Session is leaving Weber State. He is transferring to D-II Cal State-Dominguez Hills. i guess Weber State has some redshirts and recruits that will take his place. All I know is, Session was a pain in our ass to defend, he made big plays, and rebounded like no tomorrow.

I hear he and Rahe did not agree on a few things. They did not see eye to eye when it came to motivation methods, practices in particular. One would think if a coach had that big of a problem on any player's practice methods or motivation, would he not sit that player?

I really have no idea what the truth is.

That's a pretty big loss for Weber. Newcomer of the year in the Big Sky.... 11.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3 assists, 2.1 steals and .9 blocked shots per game. He led them in rebounding, blocked shots and steals. He was 2nd on the team in scoring and assists. Pretty amazing a 6'2" guard leading a team like Weber in rebounds and blocked shots like that.

Sessions, along with Lillard and AJ were the three best players in the conference last year.

This is a devastating blow to Weber's chances next year, although you have to admire their comitment to not putting up with a player that can't seal the deal.

Good news for Griz Nation, that's for sure.

As long as Rahe is coach there, I will not doubt this program's decisions. I am confident next year someone else emerges from the woodwork and all will be well for them.
