Is this thread a precursor to the annual November thread where fans insist that the QB from Texas (MSU)/Hawaii (UM) won't be able to handle playing in the cold weather?

November and December have not been the best months for the Texas QB. Hopefully the Hawaii QB can cope better.

lets see, he has had 2 losses in september against FBS teams, 2 losses in December against playoff teams, those 4 seem pretty understandable.

other than that he has had 1 loss in October and 1 in November.

MSU has scored a total of 10 points in the last 6 quarters against Montana.

If you think November and December have been his best months, you have pretty low expectations for his offensive output and his ability to keep his team in big games.

How do you explain the 2 September losses then?

its pretty obvious that the stronger correlation is a loss to playing a higher quality team, rather than the month that the game was played.
All of his losses coming to either FBS or FCS playoff caliber (top 16%) teams, the only exception to that is the loss to NAU, which was neither in November or December and was indoors, which kind of shoots your theory all to hell.

Now you could argue that playoff games have a high correlation with being played in the month of December and you would be correct, so that might be a way for you to save face from a dumb statement.
