We should be 0 losses!

I don't know if it is the playcalling or lack of efficiencies on the ball field, (its probably both) but the Griz seem to fall apart in the last minutes of every game. I have watched each game and feel like EVERY one we should have won. I know these boys want to win, and they have gotten punched in the gut week in and week out. I hope the coaching staff can work on the athletes between their ears, because they do have heart.

Agree 100%. The coaching is the fault of 4 of the 5 losses IMO! Sure they can't execute the plays, but they can call the correct ones. Another 4th and 2 yesterday except for us this time. On their 40 and we punt to their high power offense...dumb 3 plays later they are on our 10. Next year can't come soon enough!

If only a game was 2 quarters........the Griz would be golden........ :coffee:

You are correct! Clock management is also a thing that is majorly over looked by this staff, I thought we could have managed the clock better right before halftime and got ourselves a chance to at least get a long field goal attempt. You have first half timeouts, USE THEM!!!!

The title of this thread should read "We could be 0 losses!"

As pointed out above, there is a lot of pee wee football decisions being made...

Apparently Boog thinks you can bank all those time outs. The talent is on the field, its heartbreaking to see these kids undercoached. Its nice to see them rally, but the coasting after we get a lead is not working. Where are the bigger backs? Kirscner and Counts made the trip, use em.SSH had another 100 yards to get in the 4th? etc etc etc

Every team that gives up 660 yards passing should be entittled to a win. Damn the luck.

It is hard to put a finger on it. We are use to being in tight games and in years past we made the plays necessary to win those games. This year, not only do we fail to make the plays, but we look horrible in doing so. I suppose having a young team is partly to blame, but most of the blame rests with the coaches. After failing to take responsibility for the fake punt screw up last week (or for the two kick offs at NC) I'm quite certain that Delaney is part of the problem and not the solution. Hopefully we will have a new HC next year.

And I should be debt free, and lying on a warm beach, with a hot babe on one side and a cold beer in my hand, during the winter months too. Unfortunately, I'm not either, but I just go with the flow (not Florio either.) It is what it is, and whatever problems this team has can't be fixed until the off-season begins. A few games left in the season to play for "pride" and help build towards next year. Keep cheering on the boys.
