We ARE (NOT MSU FANS)

These are all things that were said on BN after the Griz beat the Cats two weeks ago, and or after the Cats lost three in a row. As arrogant, asshole Griz fans, let's not be the same.

1. NO, the refs didn't beat the Griz today. Bad calls, yes, but 21 unanswered in the second quarter and two TD's of 50 or more beat the Griz today. Just like the refs didn't cost the Cats in the Brawl.

NO, "Our QB" is not better than the QB who just walked into OUR stadium and played lights out. Just like DM was NOT better than JJ two weeks ago.

NO, Firing the head coach after a 10-3 season is not realistic and would NOT have stopped Nate Harris from getting smoked after the Griz had all the early mojo, and would have stopped Talifearro from gutting the Griz D-line on their only TD of the second half, which again, stopped the Griz dead in their tracks. Asking for Delaney to be fired on the spot is as moronic as MSU fans asking for Ash to be fired after getting soundly beat by a better team two weeks ago.

Which leads me to another NO. NO, the Griz are NOT better than CC, just like MSU was NOT better than UM following the win in Bozeman two weeks ago.

And the Biggest don't be like a BN poster of them all. NO, we do not match up better with North Dakota State in spite of just losing, and we didn't earn the right to find out. Coastal Carolina took that right from the Griz today. The Griz will find out just how well they match up with NDSU soon enough.

This.

In the end of the day, the breaks just didn't go our way. And at least we can say we had the opportunity, can we say the same for MSU this year?

The phantom review was inexcusable and it had a major effect on the game. At the same time we didn't play our best game and props to CC for coming into this situation and playing a good game.

And the Griz are not MSU either. The Bobcats would have rolled over and spread wide open and accepted the pounding and lost by 40+ where as the Griz fought til the end and made it respectable but came up short like against EWU.

That was an excellent team today. They earned the win, no questions asked. Either way, I'm glad I was there. I'm anxious to see how CC matches up to NDSU. They may be able to move the ball on the Bison defense. I for one will be rooting for Chauncey next weekend.

They won't match up. NDSU wins by at least 21 and won't give up more than 2 scores.

Amen. Embarrassing.

Havgriz, there are numerous other threads on this board tonight that prove otherwise.

BTW most rational Cat fans knew the Griz were better two weeks ago.

I'm one CAT fan that after reading some of the post this morning for once I agree with you. Cat fans are not close to being as classless as the griz fans.
Really get over it. You LOST, game over, move on to next year. Hit the recruiting trail and look to next year.

I applaud the effort, HAvgriz, but this like most reasonable threads were quickly relegated to the bottom of page 2.

BTW, the officiating had very little to do with the outcome of Cat/Griz, and most of us will freely admit it.

That seems to be about 50/50 on this board today.

I disagree with most of this post, but mostly because I hate it when people call out individual players, like that player was the reason we lost the game but since you went there, I will first defend the player. When you force your player to play single coverage against a very fast receiver, you had better done a good job of coaching him so he is watching the receiver and not looking back at the QB.
Further I think it is insulting to especially our SRs, to say they were not better then CCU. Even the announcers pointed out our play calling was suspect. You combine bad ref calls, weird play calling and some under coached players in specific situations and we have the perfect storm for losing.

It's not insulting... CCU clearly was the better team on Saturday. Are our players less talented? Heck no. If we play mistake-free ball, we win comfortably. But his point was that on Saturday, CCU was the better team.

Says the guy who started an entire thread to call a Missoulian reporter an "idiot".

OK, I will go with most of that, they were the better prepared team. I would love to have their coach and I voiced my concerns before the game about matching up with him with game time adjustments. I cant imagine he will last long at CCU. The guy will be moving up soon.
I still had a great time at the game and my voice is just starting to come back and I have not lost a second of sleep since the game. I just love Griz football.
