WBB 3 KEYS to the SUU Matchup 2

Here are our 3 keys and a film breakdown (Game Film and Montana SLOB Series) of tonight's matchup. Hope you enjoy it.

Good breakdown. I would add two things.
Limit turnovers. If we have 16 plus, we will struggle to win. Just look at the stats for the 5 games. Points off turnovers and how many more shot attempts the opposing team takes. Just 9 turnovers against Southern Utah in our last meeting.
Offensive boards. That will come down to players who get after it. Note that when Carmen is shooting 3s Abby is somewhere near free throw extended. So, a miss is normally end of possession with four LG lining perimeter.
Hopefully Brian has these things being worked on or it will be a rough next few games going into tournament.

Excellent point - sometimes I see a 3-pt shot taken and no one is even close by for a rebound.

For sure limiting TO's and REBOUNDING in general so we agree. SUU missing Dotson last night sure did not help their cause on the glass or toughness factor. Lady Griz won the TO battle 11-15. We want to go back and watch the ball screen defense to see what was done. Congrats on the win. BTW....go check out our Abby Anderson ART OF THE SHOT BLOCK just posted.
