Warren passed today in Billings. He was in the first West High graduating class in 1962 and was one of the best Griz players of the 60's. Warren was a great athlete and played several offensive positions for the Griz. A very successful career followed and he was notably popular locally. That he will be missed is an understatement.

RIP Warren. A really super guy. Condolences to his widow Ann (Spencer), who was
a classmate of mine at MCHS , and to the rest of his family and friends.

Oh, no,no,no! Warren was a good friend, from college days to now. We were frat brothers in the Phi Delt house, reconnected later whe he was reffing football. There is so much to share with this guy, and we all see more about him in the days ahead. His wife, Anne is a 1964 Spartan classmate too. Heartfelt condolences to his family.

I've always been proud to call Warren my friend. A true gentleman. In addition to his successes on and off the football field, Warren donated 100's of hours to umpiring all levels of baseball in Billings and he was chosen to umpire in the Little League World Series.

Very sad. Warren and Ann had seats directly in front of us in WaGriz. Warren was Griz QB when I was in school. He is a year older than me, but I think he graduated in my class (1967). Ann was a year behind me in high school (MCHS). I haven't seen them much in the past couple of years as they were watching their grandson play in Bozeman.
