Vote on 12 game seasons this week...

Would give FCS schools the option to have 12 games in regular season. Not required to schedule it. Would also allow for the start of the season start a week earlier...

This would allow the Grizzlies another pay day in Missoula or option to get a money game from a Division I

Would it make the season start one week earlier or would they do away with the week off during the season I wonder?

This may be good for the fans and the budget. I'm not convinced this would be in the best interest of the student athletes. I know that when I worked, neither myself or my staff would have thought accepting 8 (approximately) % more work for the same pay was a very good deal. And since many of you already seem to think that the value of a UM degree has been devalued because of the past/present administration, and that is really the pay-off for most of these young men, then the value of those scholarships and partials would seem to be already diminished. I think a better idea would to get back to playing 12, 13 or 14 games the old-fashioned way ...........WIN and go deep into the playoffs!

I agree with this entire statement. If we played a money game every year, could that be paid out to players for non-tuition stipends? Thinking about both recruiting in regard to $$$ and recruit exposure to big-boy football exposure? Play a rotation of: Oregon, Oregon St, Washington, Washington State, Boise St, Utah, Colorado? Heck if I was college kid again, I would take $800? Any other areas where there might be a large alumni base?

Or the extra week could be used for a conference championship game for conferences with split sub-divisions.

Championship game would be useful helping split up the conference in two divisions to try and iron out the scheduling Shenanigans we are currently dealing with. However personally I would rather have the 12 game to schedule more FBS competition, would love to see Montana play at Utah or Utah State, CSU, Boise State, Wyoming ect.

I guess if we want to see 12 games or more we are going to have to rely on a BSC championship or a close to the top finish with some wins over quality teams. Good, that is what we need to see anyway.

I actually kind of like Kramer's idea to play all conference games. With our playoff system it really doesn't matter if we play out of conference, however for the have nots that need the body bag games that could be the only problem with this.
