While I appreciate coaches who can pull back and let their staff work their pieces of the puzzle, I really like that this guy is a teacher, up to his elbows in the action. I'm sure he is less involved in the D and Special Teams but I don't see him hanging too far back on those things either. I imagine as he gets the ball rolling he'll up-level himself a bit but until then I believe his style is exactly what the Griz need. He'll get his culture bootstrapped sooner rather than later and it is going to be fun to see how far into the stratosphere he launches the program. He could be the guy to ride it into FBS (or whatever it morphs into).
