I think if we went 8-4 Missoula would be screaming for the head coaches, well, head. And as far as the prestige goes I'd rather be able to say we won a NC then the Famous Potato Bowl. But thats just me. To each his own.

I'd rather be able to say we beat Wyoming, Oregon State, Nevada, Idaho, UNLV, Utah State, Colorado State, and Arizona State but that's just me.

Why are directional U's worse than "fake state' U's? (Not to mention you did possibly include directional Arizona U). San Jose, Weber and Portland are NOT states. At least a University can exist in a part of a state, hence the direction.

Not to mention joining the FBS doesn't get you away from "directional" schools

-South Florida
-Southern Miss

USC is a private school, it's not part of their state university system. And comparing a school like Central Florida to NAU or EWU is laughable.

wasn't comparing anything to anything. I was just pointing out that the "directional" school thing that Kodiak referred to is everywhere not just the FCS.
