[Griz til I die]

I’m not gonna lie, I thought that was one of the weirder Basketball games I’ve watched in a while. We looked like we played at half speed the entire night, didn’t seem to run any kind of set offense and we still won by 15. I literally thought we weren’t even trying in the 1st half as it looked like we were prioritizing rest with the amount of subbing and rotating. At one point in the 1st half, Whitney was the only starter on the floor with Mack, Oke, Nap and Vazquez.

Then in the second half the starters played the overwhelming majority of the half and just buried them despite the fact that offensively we just didn’t seem to be doing much. I don’t get it, but in the end it doesn’t really matter.

Also, talk about a classless move by the Idaho AD to fire head coach Zac Claus immediately after the game. You seriously couldn’t wait until tomorrow morning? You just had to do it right after the game? What a classless move by her! That’s unreal!

Was this getting fired on the court like what happened to Herm Edwards last season? Thats brutal lol.

Anyway, I had my doubts about this team and coaching staff. They have now won 7 of the last 8 and are peaking at the right time. Always happy to be wrong. Go Griz

With Claus being let go, would we look to see if Jones would be interested in transferring to Montana? He's obviously a skilled big man but would he fit in with our system/numbers? He's listed as a junior so I assume 2 more years left.

I was thinking that it might be a pipe dream to get him to transfer to the Griz, but with how things are shaking out in Moscow maybe that could happen?

You can’t deny his talent. He’s clearly head and shoulders above his teammates talent-wise (and literally.) Love to see him as a Griz to replace Mack.

How about we had him and Dillon Jones. Both these players are terrific.
