If you are planning a trip to Washington Grizzly stadium this coming Saturday, please take the time to stop by our tailgate and shoot the Bull with other Griz football fans and have a beverage. Located in lot "M", across the footbridge from the Press Box Sports bar. The Griz Mascot, Monte (Carved Bear) is standing in truck with a large Griz flag.

Maybe true however, all the players have parents. Most parents travel with their sons...
We have met a lot of nice parents and fans of all teams that trip to Washington/Griz!

Suggestion for title change is pretty funny. :thumb:

But I re-read the combination several times and was struck by a much sadder, and serious, thought almost every time. Finally decided to put it here, because we can make an important point.

Far too often, IMO, you might also need to shorten it to “parent.” It always saddens us on “parents day” to see a young man introduced along with a single parent. And this applies equally to whites as well as minorities.

But the beautiful thing is that we -- collectively -- can offer a support group to make those truncated families as big as all of “Griz Nation.” Thank you, reinell30 for helping make that happen.

Well this weekend is Military appreciation game! As some of us know, not everyone has both parents available. One really needs to ask why there is a single parent before passing judgement!

There were quite a few that stopped by. If you watch Root Sports, I guess there is a segment with a few Vandal fans and us at my tailgate. Also, Monte was at tailgate for about 10 minutes as well.
