Shaping up to be an interesting weekend, with three ranked-vs-ranked matchups. The “icing on the cake” is that several of the underdogs are at home, which always improves their chances. Should be fun.

As usual, two selections allowed and you can change your vote(s).

Austin Peay and UNH for me. I think NDSU will crush the always overrated UNI Panthers. Was really tempted to pick Villanova over JMU.

Swung and missed last week on my Penguins upset prediction. I'll try again this week.

If I have to pick one, I'll take Villanova over James Madison. JMU's defense is top 5 in the FCS, but they just about lost to Stony Brook, needing overtime to win the game. Villanova has the top rusher in all of FCS, and has already beaten three then-ranked teams this year (#13 Colgate, #5 Towson, and #12 Maine). Should be a fun one.

Went 50-50 myself. Got my Nicholls over Central Arkansas (handily) :thumb: , but Furman turns out to be legit and and Samford is not rebuilding successfully, like I thought. :(

I'm going with the majority that are picking Austin Peay at home over SEMO. Then I'm taking a flier (at the moment) on Southern Illinois to finally live up to their potential ... playing at home. This one could change, depending upon what we learn during the week.

Where can I choose sac over cats? I have a feeling that is gonna be a coin flip game tomorrow in bozo.

Right here. IdaGriz01 was kind enough to make a Big Sky upset poll to help get us through the doldrums of the bye week.

One up, one down ... Richmond upset #18 Maine (at Maine), 24-17. Doesn't help (or hurt) the Griz, but maybe it's a harbinger of more upsets coming today.

Was tied, but JMU scored to take the lead, 31-24 ... plenty of time left.

Delaware getting pummeled, 35-0, early in the 4th quarter.
South Dakota winning handily.
ISU now pounding UND.

Lots going on in FCS. :D

Edit: Northern Iowa would be making more of a game of it if their kicker could actually kick.

No upset at James Madison ... which is fine since that means #5 Villanova lost. Game was close for a while, but not so much at the end. 'Nova will drop at least four or five spots, opening up one for the Griz to move up.

I was ok with either of these teams losing today, don’t like either of them.

Yep. My dislike for both switches back and forth. :D

As Shakespeare would say: "A pox on both of yee!"

No way this would have been on the upsets poll: Admittedly, Texas Southern is is one of the worst teams in the pathetic SWAC. But they just lost their homecoming game to Missouri S&T, a weak D-II team. How sad is that?

So far, so good ... on of my picks did it: Austin Peay downed #20 SE Missouri State, 28-24.

My other pick hasn't started yet, so there's still hope on that one.
