Time to move on. Got a loooooonnnnnng offseason ahead of us. Gonna be some interesting battles this spring and in fall camp.

QB-Will Gresch steal the reins from Reese or will the RFr not quite be ready yet. A lot of hype for Jenson(as usual for most incoming QB's). The QB's decision making abilitys is what drives the offense and Gresch was said to run the same O in high school very efficiently.

RB-Obviously Calhoun will be the man. Question is will Rey Green take away any of Favors's reps? Probably not in Treshawn's Sr year but Green should get some opportunities.

WR-Not much change here except more experience. The entire 2 deep will be back(only two of them will be Sr's) along with a host of Fr looking to try and get on the field. JLM only needs 120 more receptions for the career mark. Barring any health issues and with a deep playoff run, that's a mark he could reach next year.

OL-Will Weyer(Ben, not Will) get a sixth year and is this something he wants given his knee history? Who will replace Deitrich, Luke or Hart? I beleive Jackson got to keep his RS status so we should have another Fr starting on the line next year like Angel did this year.

DT-Simms will be our next big stud. Is he gonna move back to the end or stay at the T where there will be more depth with Bradley's return and MM-O, Davis, and Tillman were serviceable backups. Not to mention two highly touted Fr.

DE-The biggest whole to fill. Losing our BSC Preseason Defensive Player of the year and the other end that outplayed him will leave some opportunities for someone to step up. Obviously Schye will fill one spot but if Simms stays inside, there's gonna be a battle for the other end. Beddel played a lot as the #4 DE last year but I'm sure the four young guys behind him are chomping at the bit to get on the field.

LB-CAN'T WAIT to see these guys next year. With the entire cast returning, next year should be awesome.

CB-Markell and McKinley will be the guys next year but Egbo and Cowans are gonna get an opportunity. This might be the one position we see a JuCo or transfer make an impact also.

S-Strong and Sandry will be our guys. The rest are definitely a level below these two but all should be capable backups.

ST-Williams was mostly consistent as our P but not great. It goes w/out saying our K by commitee needs some vast improvements. We had better see that.

Coaching-If there are any coaching changes made, JB Hall might be the guy to go. Now, he's only two years deep into his coaching career so I'm sure there's a learning curve and he could end up being a good one but the secondary took a hard hit this year, most notably all the deep balls that were given up. Eastern is one thing but our loss to Cal Poly and NAU should have been largely credited to the big pass plays that were given up. To go along with the 4th and 1 conversion by MSU, coming out of a TO, Strong should have been coached to watch the PAP. I know JB is in charge of the corners, not the safeties, but he's also the defensive quality control coach and I'd expect that's kind of an important job.

as for O line, next year will be The Year of The Yeti. Jackson and Angel are going to be something to watch for a few years! :thumb:
