This is amazing.
Checking out many of these X profiles.
These recruits are from all over the US.

I suck at Twitter. What are you searching to find this?

Here's 1 of many

Does anyone on here know keaton Johnson? For real know…not met and chatted a little? Just wanted to know if he was even half as cool as his twittering site!

I guess the days of having 3 months off are OVER

When I played, we had 9 months off, except for 1 day of spring ball. Off-season was for drinking and chasing girls and also catching some rays in spring. Summers for working, at family ranch in my case. Way better and more fun system.

Another argument for why maybe NIL is a good thing. These kids are working way harder then any college athletes ever have.

That’s for sure. Also they work hard before college. To me, sports have been ruined by the time commitment and demand

But the payoff down the road for them includes a chance to become a billionaire ball busters' boy toy for a while , so there is that incentive.

I don't disagree at all. I have a kid who just turned 10 who pitched in over 60 games in 2023. Fall season ended in early December, and she's been in practice for two different spring teams since last month. I don't worry about her because she's obsessed with her sport, but I think it can burn some kids out and make some real talent never be seen. The specialization and year-round focus produce better players in the long run in the aggregate, but I don't think it makes for the best childhood if the kid isn't the one driving it. And I've witnessed way too many instances of that.

Add to that the expense of all sports now. 12 months a year and a huge financial commitment because they have to be on travelling teams and at every camp. Your kid is no longer one of the best players in the town/county/state they are one of the best financially capable players in the town/country/state. Does efficiently cut down the competition and makes the parents feel better about their kids chances of "going to the show".
