Undrafted Free Agents

Gil Brandt mentioned BG and JR Nelson, but didn't see Kidder. Surprises me. He put up nice stats at pro day.

Yes, he leaves Friday to be with the team. The Detroit Lions were 5 minutes late on their free agent call, and the Seattle Seahawks were ten minutes too late. But JR signed with the team that has shown the most interest these part few months. At pro day they spent 45 minutes in an interview with him and even gave him one of those aptitude tests. He is so happy - and KC did not draft a CB, he was one of their first phone calls.

A list of some signed, including QB Kyle Sloter from Northern Colorado to Broncos
Some interesting link-ups. Noticed that Lorenzo Jerome went to the 49ers. The Niners drafted two CB's, but not one Safety. He may be a little light for an NFL Safety, but he (as we saw) has great to-the-ball instincts. If he can put on a little heft and retain his instincts and quickness, SF got a bragain.

Yes, Kidder to Vikes. Good info in this missoulian story.

I think Kidder will stick in the NFL.

I was surprised that Lorenzo didn't get drafted, based only on seeing him against the Griz and following him a bit during the season. However, these pro day numbers don't look so great.

Dates: 03/16/17
Height: 5104
Weight: 204
40 Yrd Dash: 4.63
20 Yrd Dash: 2.63
10 Yrd Dash: 1.60 225 Lb. Bench Reps:
Vertical Jump:
Broad Jump:
20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.58
3-Cone Drill: 7.14

BG has these shuttle and cone times:

20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.63
3-Cone Drill: 7.12

JR Nelson at pro day:

Dates: 03/13/17
Height: 6005
Weight: 187
40 Yrd Dash: 4.58
20 Yrd Dash: 2.60
10 Yrd Dash: 1.53 225 Lb. Bench Reps:
Vertical Jump: 38
Broad Jump: 09'08"
20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.23
3-Cone Drill: 6.94

Look at the difference in shuttle/cone times. Big.

Very cool, good luck to him!

I think Lorenzo not getting drafted proves that Coach Stitt's offence is a failure and we will never regain DOLA on a team where nobody is best in space.

I still don't understand this one. I get that he played at St. Francis and "quality of competition" could be questioned, but he blew UP the invite bowl he played in....was a man among boys.

Okay, well my response was a joke because I think I'm clever. But yeah, his not getting drafted makes no sense.
