Stitt's statement that he this years team was young and undisciplined at the press conference really kind of pisses me off.

Per the stat's at the BSC website.

Penalties yards per game - 1st being lowest in the conference, 13th being highest in the conference.

2013 4th out of 13, 48.3 yards per game, MD head coach

2014 2nd out of 13, 45.3 yards per game. MD head coach

2015 7th out of 13, 51.2 yard per game, BS head coach

2016 12th out of 13, 65.4 yards per game, BS head coach

Your the head friggin coach. Take ownership in your coaching. This has been your team for 2 years so any discipline issues are on you as the head coach.

We were a miracle play at ISU away from probably not making the playoffs last year and did not make it this year. Yes you get more than two years but for f***sakes don't go into the post game press conference after you just got your ass handed to you by a supposedly weaker in-state rival and say we were a 9 and 2 team but things just did not go our way. If you had the talent to be 9 and 2 and end up 6 and 5 who's fault is it? Look in the mirror and man up.

Jeez I am glad the Cub's won this year or I would be really, really pissed.

...in the colorado/montana state game...
...discipline penalties with every thing on the line...
...game changers that can only be blamed on poor coaching...

... :wtf: ...

Speaking of young players, it was an 18 year old that handed him his ass. Total cop out. If it's a young team (17 5-year seniors), they get less young every game and improve, not regress. Explain the regression Bob.

Jeez, I am glad Trump won this or I would be really, really pissed.

The Kitties have a young roster as well. Oh little Bob. Wish I knew what goes through that bobble head of yours.

Jeez, I'm glad my wife is hot or I'd be really, really pissed.

How many of the seniors were starters? Because a young team doesn't generally have 17 seniors.
GrizNation has found itself with a fully delusional coach, who constantly blames players for his shortcomings, and a team that basically stopped playing for him with four games left in the season. Frankly, that's the most serious negative condition in sports; and the Griz have it.

The full-blown sycophants are wandering around in circles with their panties bunched up around their heads whining that "I can't explain it. I just can't explain it." And no, they can't. It's one of the handicaps of being a full-blown sycophant. They not only lack objectivity, they would rather see this program auger in for another year and the players have to put up with that crap rather than admit what has happened before their eyes these past two years. In that regard, they are every match for Stitt's own ego.

The players want to fight and win and love their team and their Griz experience. That isn't going to happen with this coach. Not with that personality. How long are people "willing" to cheat the kids of that experience?

I'm going to disagree with you here. Those you are referring to as sycophants are not. They are very sincere which defies the word sycophant. They are sincerely wrong but they are sincere.

Did anyone else watch Charlie Strongs press conference today? It was kinda interesting. Talks about how they're better than their record (16-20), wants to be back next year, says it's a young team... I have a feeling Stitt will be having basically the same press conference next year if doesn't swallow his pride and start recognizing the problems on the team and fixing them. On paper, the team should've been better this year and should be better next year, but we'll see. I do agree Stitt should be back next year basically just for the continuity. A 5th coach in 7 years won't fix anything. And UM won't buy him out, so he's here next year for sure. Beyond that, who knows. Next year will be a make it or break it year. The penalties, lack of fire, unorganized on defense and offense, those things worry me and are a coaching problem. I wish Stitt would start admitting the mistakes of the coaches. He continuity blames the youth and experience of the players. He needs to look in the mirror and start taking some responsibility based on his and the coaching staffs inexperience...

It may only be as few as five or six individuals, but I do think they are sincere sycophants. When they won't stick up for the team and the players, and constantly defend the coach no matter what the evidence, that's being a sycophant.

I do think there are many sincerely confused fans. Nothing that has happened matches the hype around this hire. Instead of "innovative" we get meltdowns and red zone stops. Instead of "creative" we get the same d*** formation all the time. Instead of a "defense that wins games," we get a defense that is running around "in chaos." The "coach" is supposed to be the leadership model, not the team's biggest and most public critic. When even game-play announcers are publicly questioning a coach's game plays and strategies, Griz fans have never heard this before. When newspaper columnists are pointing out that the head UM coach is "delusional," and opposing coaches are publicly calling out UM's head coach for not understanding "Football 101," -- and then proving it -- none of this is what Griz fans have ever experienced. But, its so mindbogglingly unexpected -- a typical fan is left baffled. How did this happen? Who is Bob Stitt? This isn't the Bob Stitt that was hired. Was he real? Ever?

There are plenty of confused fans, and sincere ones. The ones that arrogantly tried to shout down anyone that began raising these questions are, however, truly sycophants. And now that they have been conclusively and decisively and publicly humiliated, expect the worst from them.

I've got a feeling next year's press conference will involve him saying something along the lines of us breaking in an inexperienced QB. And that the following year will be different... Seems like the type of guy who always has an excuse locked and loaded

I'm just glad we beat the lowly Cats with their one dimensional offense, freshman QB and injury riddled defense this year, or I'd be really, really pissed...

This, I fear, may well be the future.

Worse, he seems to believe the excuses. Denial that there are any flaws or vulnerabilities in his system.
