UNC names B.J. Hill as new head coach

Hill was an assistant at UNC with Boyle. This is a good hire. He was a good recruiter and brought some of our best players to Greeley. We might not miss Boyle too much.

Can Boyle take rest of the staff then? Anything to make the BSC slightly easier would be helpful. Seriously, this conference is getting better. GRIZ, Weber State, UNC, MSU, NAU, and EWU are all setting well for next year. Portland State is always in the mix. Sac State is improving, and can not be counted out. Idaho State is always tough, and never know what to expect with the new personnel they will have next year.

Basically, as things look now, there is not a true cellar dweller. Even the top teams will have question marks next year. AS long as the GRIZ are representing in the NCAA's I do not care how the regular season plays out.

The Denver Post is reporting that no UNC assistants will be going with him to Boulder. I do agree the Big Sky is a good b-ball conference.

Getting better conference, at least to those familar to it. Outside of the region, despite the improvements with personnel and coaching, it is looked as a laughing stock conference. I for one, like the positive direction programs are making in basketball.
