Sorry to create a new thread for this review of last week's game--YES, I'm fully aware that as a rule we don't talk about last fucking week!

No disrespect to North Dakota State but it was a lot louder

I'm not exactly sure what a 'Back Alley Sports Bar' is code for but I'm never stepping foot in 306 Barbecue.

Terrific find. It would be great to watch and or listen to the coaches show for every opponent after we play them.

Fake news.

Pretty good show, can't help but like their coach and he had them as ready as they could be, too bad we can't see them once in a while.

This was really good, to see thier coaches perspective. Very professional and well done

I agree, It would be nice to see this kind of video each week.

Credit goes to oGriz for finding this show and providing a link last week.

As part of my on-going education to the terms of vocabulary of my Yankee breathern, what does the term "fake news" mean? I hear it quite often when someone doesn't like what has been said. In this case I just watched a man say "No disrespect to ....." in a situation where he would have no incentive to lie. It's not like he is afraid of giving bulletin ammo to NDSU, or that he has to praise U of M who I don't think he would assume are watching local North Alabama access shows. Why would this warrant the statement "fake news"?

Fake news is a lame retort for anything one doesn’t like or agree with. Better know as cognitive dissonance. Smh

"Fake news" is a term thrown around pretty loosely on message boards when a statement is obviously true but is surely to be challenged by someone with a different viewpoint, in this case the Bison faithful. It's a preemptive dig before the storm hits.

Of course the other side can also make the same statement and truly believe it, so it depends on who is saying it.

Fake news, whether real or imagined, is a term that has run wild in American political discussions for quite a while now, I imagine that is where it started.

It can mean a lot of things. Like it can mean it is fake news that your PM molested that girl even though his prints are still on her nipples. Or it could be fake news that your PM cares about global warming even though he nationalized a pipeline to thwart native opposition. Mostly it means don't believe what you read cause it is most likely opinion (see Spanish American war for more details).

Well that didn't help at all. Now I don't know what to believe. If I can't believe anything I read then what is the point of it all? I can't trust Brint for pre and post game analysis (sorely lacking in both graphs and pie-charts)? I can't trust argh to give me a positive outlook each day with his cheery and optomistic views on Coach Hauck and the Griz chances? I can't trust PR to educate me on football, journalism and who's wife/GF is hot? I feel lost in a vast waistland.
