The missoulian says that Cold Pizza will go live from Dahlberg Arena at 9:30 this morning. Wondering if anyone else has heard anything about it? Don't have cable at work so hoping that someone can watch and give a run down of what all they say on the show.

Foley and O'Day looked like they have never been on TV before, but once they started talking did a nice job. The girl who started the interview is obviously on the show because of looks,. because her questions would have gotten her an F in J School. Great exposure for the Griz nonetheless! :thumb:

Pretty stiff interview. Very little BBall info. Oday and Foley looked rigid. Had footage from the NAU game that was good. Talked about Monte more than the team. :lame: Better than nothing I guess.

They interviewed the school VP and Athletic Director. As usual, they had to explain where UM is located. It's amazing how many people don't even know where Montana is. Anyway, they discussed the basketball team, Monte and the Clark Fork.
While discussing Monte they showed video of him on the field at Washington-Grizzly...can't wait for the season to start!

When I heard that I almost Crapped my drawers! Is Dana an airhead or what?!

C'mon guys, give ESPN a little credit. Are they supposed to know exactly where Missoula is? I for one would not know where many of the college towns back east are located within a certain state and I am pretty sure not many of you would either. I thought that the interview went fairly well and is great PR for Montana, no matter what. A little recognition goes a long way.

Oh come on, no one said jack about ESPN, but she isn't an intern for goodness sake. If she is going to be on a National program all she needed to do was get on the net and the phone and she could have found out a ton of things about Missoula and the Griz. Here are what you get by googling 1. Montana Grizzly Basketball and 2. Missoula Montana. It took less than 20 seconds to do both and past them here. Damn, I am beat! :thumb: Please note Egriz comes up!! :thumb:

When Tom Mees and Terry Holland were in Missoula this chick was probably in Junior high, either way they have to have some info somewhere, she was just trying to wing it and she bombed.

"Laying on court." Not for long as it was a big game and they were pulled out of the way by firm grips on their hair. National exposure.

I was at that game. A girl I worked with was one of the protesters arrested. The thing I remember most is someone put up an ESPN sign that said Even Saddam Parties Naked until someone made them take it down. There was a lot of energy there that night. I was a student and don't remember who we played or if we won. :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: Does anyone else have that info.

Hmmmm
I was there and don't remember the sign. I do remember yelling at that A Hole Dominda Zoysa (sp?) as they drug his mangy ass off the court.
