Sad day for the Griz. Sugarcoaters, please tell us all again how great this years team and coaching staff is.

To answer your question...yes, I would feel better at 3-2.

My question, specifically, is would he feel differently about the coaching staff and the team if we had recovered the onside kick and run out the clock and won the game.

Not speaking for the other guy, but yes...I would have felt a lot better had we won. I know shit happens, but dropping that game with the lead we had....well, there's no other way to put it. Total let down. I knew it was going to be a rebuilding year...and I thought EW was probably going to win, but it's the way they won. I'm sorry, but I watched the same game as everyone else and I don't see what all the fuss is about the Eagles QB. I saw short slants that looked way to easy and when he threw the deep ball it was a jump ball every time. Nothing special there. The onside kick was a screaming WTF??? and the rest of the 4th quarter was not EW beating the Griz...it was the Griz beating the Griz. And that is coaching.

The Northern AZ collapse was horrible...but it served to refocus the team and EW felt that sting until wee shit ourselves in the 4th quarter. I'd like to think the Griz will again refocus for a nice run down the stretch, but we will see. A collapse like that could also serve to be the ultimate fulsh...not just for this season but for the next two years as well. I hope not. I will always cheer for me Griz, but how can anyone not question the coaching staff after 2 collapses like we just witnessed.

And yes...I will still be in Greeley on Saturday cheering like a MFer for our team.
