The UCF Knights are back in the win column after this weekends game at Bright House Networks Stadium, and the usual suspects looked pretty good this time around.
UCF didn't exactly have the greatest game against USF. Kevin Smith was kept out of the end zone. Kyle Israel has been receiving death threats all week on his car. Not from Tulsa fans or USF fans, but from his own UCF fans right here in Central Florida.
"It was a death threat, that's what that was. I don't know how to explain it without getting vulgar on here," said Israel. "What is wrong with people? I don't know, but like I said, I don't want to get into that. I'd like to focus on the game and I don't want to make any more comments on that."
Israel definitely came out focused, going 8-for-8 to start the game and running for a touchdown. Speaking of touchdowns, Kevin Smith is back to being Kevin Smith. Four touchdowns in the game for 24 Karat Gold.
"Man we've been working hard all week and I think the impact that the last two games had on our offense as a whole is the reason why we've been griding in practice and that's the reason we came out and we had to show that we're not a fluke. I mean we're coming to play ball every time we step on the field," said Smith.
