State wrestling is completed this weekend and Val Rauser (townsend) and Tanner Sprinkle (Billings Senior) are annointed as 4 time state champions. As a side note Val completed his career undefeated meeting only 2 others with that history. As a coach a squad of very talented kids are starting to move on, but a new crop is on the way. There was a talented bunch of freshman emerging this year. Congrats to Bozeman, Laurel, Forsyth, and Chinook on great tourneys.

Great opportunity this last weekend to see some great student athletes. I was at the BC championships in Hamilton...Wow, to get to see a kid accomplish something that only 20 other kids have done is great.

I wonder if Sprinkle will get any scholarship offers. I hope Wyoming looks at him, as well as the youngest Dallaserra from Butte.

I have no doubt that they will get offers from somewhere. 2 incredible finds. The Rauser boys are heading to Utah Valley State. Ben stroh (chinook) redshirted at Wyoming this year so the pipeline is starting to get created.

Seems like Wyoming and NDSU recruit Montana pretty heavily.. hope UW can snag the best from MT. Dallaserra from Butte is paying off nicely for the Cowboys this year.

Wow. I thought the Rauser kids would get better offers than UVSU? Isn't one of them a tripple crown national champion? The younger Stroh boy is a stud. Wouldn't mind seeing him suit up for the Griz in a couple years, but his future is probably on the mat as well. Wish UM would start a wrestling program...

I talked to Jade and Val about Utah Valley. They are an up and coming team, but the clincher was the proximity of the national Greco training center where they can go cost free whenever they want. Stroh is amazing on the mat, (really disciplined) and has an attitude to get the job done out there. He finished the year pinning every opponent. The only exception was at the Tournament of Champions where he failed to put Toby Cheff down although if he had another 5 seconds, he would have gotten the pin. I don't know if he'll be challenged next year either.
