Two Best Super Bowl Commerials

Bill Murray’s was the best. Most of the others were very lame

Don’t think your two options ran here in Billings

Bill Murray/Jeep

Jason Momoa commercial. (Not sure what it was for)

I’d agree with Murray, but having been a pro marketer in a previous life, Momoa’s commercial was a flop just the reason you note. You can’t recall what the product was. Rocket Mortgage f$*ked it up. Post Malone wasn’t needed for the commercial he was in either. Though we live in a celebrity-driven era where brand is everything, there was a bunch of mediocrity foisted on an audience at some incredibly big ticket pricing. But we should all note that commercials and most advertising in general, is pointed @ consumers. Old clowns like us are only consuming alcohol now, for the most part.

I did my masters thesis on the disaster that was American Tourister when they put the commercial out with the gorilla throwing the luggage around the cage. For those of you too young to recall what this was, you can find the commercial here.

Everyone associated this with the preeminent luggage branch of the day, Samsonite.

Google knocked it out of the park, and as long as they keep developing the thread, it will pay big dividends down the line.

Agreed. As a current "pro" marketer - one of my favorite commercials was for the (then new) VW Bug. Had the tagline of "Do you ever wonder how the person drives the snow plow gets to the snow plow?" Simple, effective commercial - you had the car starting right up in cold weather, driving through snow (look at what VW Bugs can do) and brand recognition.

So good it brought a tear to my eye. One of the all-time greats.

Whitefish Credit Union. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MQ2bPisAJQ

Thanks for posting. I didn’t see that in Billings. Beautiful scenery and definitely geared towards getting a younger clientele in their bank.

Top two.

Jason Mora add was funny. Benching the bar at the end. Get it off get it off!

Also like the Sam Elliot commercial.

...endless alcohol commercials...
...even an x rated half time show...
...banned cannabis and kids seizure ad...
...only the nfl could fcuk a deal like that up...

... ...

No commercials with the Budweiser Clydesdale horses? 1st Superbowl in many a year without the horses. Anyone know why?

Roger Goddell, being what he is, probably had PETA in his ear...….exploitation of animals and all that.

PETA is a bunch of worthless hypocrite shit bags, considering they kill 95 percent of the animals they get their hands on.

I too have questioned when everyone loves the Jason Mamoa commercial but doesn't know who it was for. Then it wasn't effective. That google commercial made me text my dad as soon as it was over. Great job. My favorite.

I guess I always though people understood that there is space now for local commercials in the super bowl. You only see them for your area.
