TV SCHEDULE?

The first round games are on ESPN3.
Last year the ESPN3 (streaming) games also showed up on the DirecTV 700 channels (need the Sports Pack). But with all the contract crap that's gone on this year ... Who know? We're keeping an eye on it.

We’re in luck. DirecTV did pay to pick up the FCS playoff games for their Sports Pack. Have no idea if ESPN also peddled it to Dish, but that has sometimes happened.
Code:
Holy Cross at Monmouth 10:00 am	788
Central Connecticut at Albany 11:00 am	790
Furman at Austin Peay 11:00 am	791
Illinois State at SE Missouri 12:00 pm	792
San Diego at Northern Iowa 12:00 pm	793
North Dakota at Nicholls 2:00 pm	788
Kennesaw State at Wofford 2:00 pm	794
Villanova at SE Louisiana 2:00 pm	789

Wondering if you knew if ESPN College Extra, where these games are broadcast, is included in the DirecTV Sports Pack?

Ahah! You may just explained something weird that just happened. I was replying to a question about the Sports Pack ... and then the thread fell apart.

We've been DirecTV customers for a LONG time, so they still show "Sports Pack" on our bill ... to keep us quiet, I guess. However, as near as I can tell, it may be "backwards" -- what we used to call Sports Pack now looks like a sub-part of what they now call -- as you mention -- ESPN College Extra. Whatever ... that is the logo they display when we retrieve a recording from the 700 channels. Hope this helps.

Addendum, FWIW: Not the first time we've found out-dated and/or irrelevant stuff on the DirecTV web site.

What is the deal on the Second Round? I thought I remember reading somewhere that later games might a bit more accessible? I plan on going to the game, but I always record them too.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

It took a bit of sleuthing, but all second round games are on ESPN3. irrc, ESPN won't allow local stations to pick up the games? Sound right?

For those that don't have DirecTV is there any other way besides ESPN3 to get the games? Is it on Pluto?

No Pluto. Must have a provider to get espn3. Most have cable or satellite, but I have youtube tv and that works as a provider.

Was checking DirecTV 791 for the Furman - Austin Peay game and it says they're in a weather delay. If you are recording (like we are), you'll need to fix that one.

Griz Fans - Try this site if you are a cord cutter and have no access to Direct TV
Sportsurge.net - https://sportsurge.net/#/events/7
So far today it has the CConn & Albany, Holy Cross & Mon, Furman & Austin Peay, Ill St & SE Mo St and San Diego & UNI games on.
Don't know much about the site; but, just came across it yesterday. I'm watching the Holy Cross and Mon game right now and plan on watching the Vill & SEL game later today.
