I was kind of afraid of what he thinks; hope he's not wanting to head back home.

No offense to Rundles, but Tubby is going to be going after nothing but Blue Chip recruits. Cam woul dalso have to sit a year to be guaranteed nothing. When a school (Mn) is paying Tubby close to $2 Million per they expect nothing less than winning the Big 10 and compete for a NC. :twocents:

From what I heard though from my friends in Minnisota, Rundles was the best guard on the court the night the Griz beat Minn.. As a matter of fact that was the big rub that many had, was why or how did we recruit all of these so called out better guards from out of state, when we could have had a much better guard from our back yard, Rundles. Rundles had a rep as a hard as nails hustle his butt of kind of player before he left Minn. for Montana, but U of Minn. still did not think he was talented enough for the Big 10.

Many in Minn. would like love to have Rundles at U of Minn..... It is a pipe dream but they do like him very much.

I wouldn't dispute that one bit MslaCat, however I don't think Cam was a McDonald's All American and that is precisely the type of player Tubby has been recruiting for years now. I think Cam might have been a good get for Monson, but not Tubby, and that isn't saying anything against Cam, just my opinion.

Getting kids to come to MN will be harder for Tubby. He'll go after blue chips but it's a lot easier to get them to come to a hoops powerhouse like kentucky than up in minnesnowda. Plus tubby isn't looking as good after the recent lack of success at KY.

His recent "lack of success" at Kentucky would get him elected Governor in MN. I would not underestimatel Tubby when it comes to recruiting. He is going to be able to promise immediate playing time to his new recruits, something he could no longer do at kentucky. Remember, he was very succesful recruiter (Tulsa) prior to Kentucky, and has a ton of contacts. Overall Record: 365-133 (.733, 15 years) - 241-71 at UK

Cool, now I can be a Kentucky fan again. TS ran that once powerful program into the shitter and made them unwatchable.

Glad he's gone.
