True Freshmen

The impact of Junior Bergen this season as a true freshmen has been down right incredible and possibly unrivaled. He’s a borderline team offensive MVP this season. What are some other true freshmen Grizzlies from the past who have had a huge impact like Junior has had?

-Trumaine Johnson is an obvious pick
-Peter Nguyen was impressive. I don’t believe he RS.
-Dan Carpenter
-I’m not sure if Levender Segars or John Talmage ever red shirted

I can’t think of any from the 80’s or 90’s. And I remember nothing from the 70’s. I know I’m missing some. Thoughts?

I can’t think of anyone that deserves it more than Bergen. There’s definitely an argument for Cam, but we would have been up shit creek without JB this season.
