Tru noted as top 10 2016 unrestricted free agents

Maybe not as much but will be close if they do franchise him because of the rule:

"The NFL requires that a franchise player be paid at least the average of the top 5 players in the league at his position, or 120% of his previous year's salary, whichever is greater." He is pretty much in a win-win situation.
If a player is franchised and they have a good money guy they should be set for life after that 1 year. They complain they don't get the long term deal, but in reality, if you are smart with your money that 1 year will take care of you and your family for 3 generations.

Agreed! It sadly amazes me that some of those guys end up broke as sh!t!
 
Random question, somewhat off topic, but I'm curious if any of the UM players that have gone off to the NFL made any significant monetary donations back to the program?

I know a few have for sure. I don't know the $$ amounts though. The 1995 national championship team just together raised and committed around 400k for the new locker room project, too.
