i haven't read this anywhere, but since troy andersen is on the pup, in the last year of his rookie contract, and it looks like he won't practice or play this year, it seems he will be 'tolled', i.e. his contract will automatically extend to next year and he won't be a free agent like he would've been if he had practiced with the team. seems like a good deal for him, partly because he'll make his $1.5 million this year and still be under contract next year for that amount, and partly because i doubt he'd get many looks as a free agent, given his injury history. not that anybody cares, but hey, when did that ever stop me from posting?

I’m honored to present argh! the William Cuthbert Faulkner Literary Award for the longest sentence in the history of egriz.

Sadly, Gustave Flaubert just turned over in his grave, while reminding us: If you can shorten a sentence, do. And one always can. The best sentence? The shortest,

c'mon ci-tay, you of all people should know how to use proper punctuation. ok,

I kind of enjoyed the long and winding road. Sometimes more is less. But my astute old eyes notice that there is actually a period midway through.

I think it’s great for him. Love seeing Montana kids get money and as much as possible. Rumors is he wants to retire and ranch. Ranching isn’t really retiring in my humble opinion, but to each his own. I really do think it is a tragedy how they abused the heck out of that kid at MSU. He was a competitor and was going to try and be on the field one way or another. The coaches simply used the kid like a punching bag. I cannot respect Choate for that. I hope Anderson doesn’t have long term effects from all the injuries he incurred.

Although he is a cat, I really pulled for him to be successful in the NFL. He is a Dillonite like myself and a great kid from a great family. MSU really put him through the wringer playing both ways, was always banged up. Trust me, he wants out of ATL and back on the ranch in Beaverhead Co.
He’ll get that opportunity sooner than later. He reminds me of Jordy Tripp. Expectations and injuries. He’s got a kickass ranch to go home to so god speed lad!
