"I appreciate all the fans who come and support us week in and week out, that is what makes #GrizNation so special... To those who have their own negative opinion... You have no idea how much time and dedication goes into a game... How we respond defines our character... Not the people with their negative responses after a game... Griz football hasn't gone anywhere... Were in for the long haul.. All of Griz Nation"

I like the 'in for the long haul' line. Go Griz!

he's right, a lot of time and work goes into preparing for each game which is why it really pisses me off when fans call out specific players for being lousy or worse yet not caring or not wanting to win as much as their opponent.
Football is not an easy sport. It's never easy to get 11 players to each do the right thing at the same time. It's hard to do when you're winning and it only gets harder when you're losing because a few players always begin to doubt their coaches. Once that starts, the one eleventh rule goes out the window.
That said, it's the coach's responsibility to make sure his athletes are ready to play on gameday. Coach Hauck could be brutal to coaches he thought didn't have their athletes ready. Mike Hudson was always in Hauck's doghouse for not having his men ready. I don't know if Delaney ever holds his coaces acccountable. It doesn't seem like it.

Actually I do know what goes into a week prepping for a college football game. I started in over 40 of them myself. It's no longer a high school "buddy" event. It's a JOB ! I'll travel 800 miles round trip for ISU just like I always do...I will not waver as a fan. I'm watching very weak coaching right now and some raunchy play at certain positions...(safety being priority 1) Hopefully the bleeding will stop, SSH will start at q.b. and maybe a Lebsock or better will get playing time.

players are recruited and expected to play till they bleed for a program that is rich in tradition. if you want to complain about how we complain, then maybe the player is not good enough, they probably belong in Helena. GrizNation expects more from any player. Go Griz!!!

If yesterday's game was the response for the meltdown at home vs SUU, what does that say about the character of the team. I am not trying to pick on any one here, but the team did not respond with a win. I appreciate the effort that the team gives, but looks like there are really no emotional leaders on the team, the only one is Dan Moore and he is out.

Another f**king fan who thinks that fans expect/deserve more from these players. Get a f**king life. Oh, and screw the fact that they are working on getting an education too!

Tripp posted his thoughts on facebook...someone else pasted to egriz...and was most likely meant to be a positive statement

Let me get this straight, its ok for players to post on Facebook, but doing so in 140 characters or less on Twitter is unacceptable.....WTF?? Or is the twitter rule the "Kemp rule"?
