Jordy did not record a stat in the losing effort versus the Patriots. The Dolphins are very likely to make a coaching change at season's end so he will have to impress the new coaching staff. My guess is he will add muscle and weight in the off-season and become more important to the Dolphins on special teams. The current GM will be retained and he drafted Tripp so I think he's safe for the 53-man active roster next year. My prediction is Jordan will become a special teams leader in his second season and perhaps move up one slot on the defensive depth chart. I think he can push for a starting role in year 3 or 4. He needs to improve his strength in order for that to happen. I really think this off-season is critical to his development.
Tripp was in the linebacker rotation before he got hurt right before the season started. Had he not gotten hurt and missed about 5 games, he would have been in the linebacker mix this year, and not just doing special teams.
