Tourney Pairings

A toss-up so far on the other side of the bracket, with Sac State knocking off Weber. Don't see either of them getting by EWU. On the UM side, the SUU-UI game is still too close to call.

SUU wins by 6. SUU vs NoCo should be a good game.

At Halftime, ISU leads NAU 44-29.

An ISU win could be big news for the Griz.
Well, ISU did win. What happens next depends upon which Griz team shows up: the one that beat ISU twice in the regular season, or the one that lost 3 of its last 4 games.

Also: Do not trot out the "hard to be beat a team three time in the same season." This comes up every year. But the numbers (over a 10-year span) show that the loser of the first two games against an opponent has only about a 1-in-4 chance (27.6%) of pulling off the upset in a third game. Here's the link:

True! But it's tough to beat a team 3 times...unless you're better than them! Then, the chances go up exponentially (first time I've ever used that word in a sentence. Got it from Family Guy.)!
