Ya but they posted anonymously so it’s ok. They can say whatever douchy thing they feel like and their conscious can be clear cus no one knows who they are.

take the stick out of your ass. jesus christ you act like the kids on his death bed. he hurt his knee. not the end of the world.

Guess I struck a nerve. So far your the only poster that seems to be celebrating his injury though so there’s that.

lol saying "...I'll take it..." is hardly "celebrating his injury". Yes, it's unfortunate for him that he got hurt. That goes with out saying. I feel bad for the guy. I don't wish any injuries upon any player team. In a perfect world no kid would ever get hurt. But unfortunately it's part of playing football. I don't know if you knew this but a lot of football players have gotten injured playing this sport. The fact is, he did get hurt, and he's not playing this year. Shit happens. Last year our starting QB suffered one of the most grotesque injuries I've ever seen, and I'm pretty sure hes ok now too. But you seem to be very concerned about him. I'm not a doctor but I can tell you with some degree of confidence I think he's gonna pull through. I'll tell ya what, I'll find his address and you can send some flowers and a "get well soon" card. Maybe a couple of balloons. Maybe you two will really hit it off and strike up a pen pal relationship. who knows!

I said I'll take it. lighten up dude.

Ok, I see your hung up in defending yourself. Continue having fun with that.

Not sure if you have a son or not but if you do, imagine yourself watching him play college football. Then imagine him suffering a season ending leg injury. Then imagine the guy next to you saying, "I'll take it." I'd probably end up in jail.

But he wasn't sitting next to the dad. He doesn't know the dad, and vice versa. Those are important points. He just said I'll take it. He didn't say he was glad the guy was hurt.

Just for arguments sake, generally when I say “I’ll take it”, it’s cause I’m settling for whatever I can get. I’m not happy over it, but it’s better then nothing. Now I realize he might not be implying that he’s happy with the injury but it certainly sounds like he’s glad we got something instead of nothing. Now I’m not gonna ask him to explain himself but if we’re gonna continue to argue weather he had malicious intent or not, that may be necessary.

I can assure you my intent was not malicious. It was more of a , well, that sucks, but it is what it is, and I’m not gonna be mad about it. I do have a son, and I hope that he will one day play football, and I would be very upset if he had a season ending injury. But I can assure you I wouldn’t give a shit about some random dude on an opposing teams message board saying “I’ll take it”. Your blowing a simple comment way out of proportion. Sometimes context is hard to gather from a post made in passing. The point is, out of everything that is said on football forums, this doesn’t deserve the extreme Political correctness scrutiny that you are putting it under. This whole argument is dumb and I’m sorry if it offended you. It just simply isn’t that big of a deal. The kid is hurt and not playing. It may or may not be beneficial to the griz when we play them. We can use all the help we can get on sept. 1st. therefore I said I’ll take it. Can we move on now?

Well atleast we can agree on this. Sorry for waisting your time but thank you for helping pass my time. :D :thumb:

Also, thank you for the unnecessary apology also.

WR Weston was voted second team preseason All-Missouri Valley Football Conference (10 teams, a "few" of which are pretty good). UNI RB Trevor Allen did not make the preseason all-conference team. Head Coach Mark Farley: “I think a big part of our season is the development, the progress of Jalen Rima [#87 6-0 192 JR; 2017: 11 catches, 131 yards] and Jaylin James [#83 6-3 202 JR; 2017: 33 catches, 338 yards]. This is really the year that we need to see progress. To have production at those positions — and when I say production it’s not just making the catches, it’s yards after the catch.”[1]

... Passing to the running backs is more effective when linebackers are poor at coverage [2017: RB Trevor Allen 33 catches (2017 most on the team), 206 yards]. Buss, who may not play, had two interceptions last year. There was a discussion last spring on eGriz about LB poor coverage, and it was blamed on the coaching. This spring, Dante Olson almost had two interceptions in the Spring Game.

Of UNI's top 7 returning pass catchers — by yards — 3 of them are running backs.
338 ... WR James, Jaylin, Jr
206 ... RB Allen, Trevor, Jr
204 ... TE Nissen, Elias, Sr
197 ... WR Graham, Aaron, Jr
131 ... WR Rima, Jalen, Jr
100 ... RB Weymiller, Marcus, Sr
43 ..... RB Jegen, Christian, Jr
