Are top performances measured only in offensive production? Or, does defense count too?

I would count defense as well. That said, holding Weber to 49 points in the conference tourney this year has to be a top team defense performance.

Chuck Rhodes in the Cubs/North Idaho JC game in 1956. He scored 85.6% of his career points that night (6!) and held the guy he covered to 3.

If not that one.....AJ game vs. Weber State was amazing....Tinkle vs. Idaho was a good one. Rorie's last Friday reminded of quite a few Delvon Anderson games that were defined by intense defense and overachieving rebounding.

Is Rhodes the guy you claimed never played hoops for UM, and said his name didn't appear in the Red Book? And then, when you were proven wrong on both points, you refused to admit your mistake?

I thought I took my medicine and admitted that you had me on this obscure Cubs player who may have ranked high in all-time lowest scoring stats for any Cub player in history. But you didn't know squat about one of the all-time Griz legends who had the same name (not quite spelled the same) and is known by most true Griz fans!

Was Rorie's game last week that much better than his final home game the week before where you posted on here he scored 22...but most of us saw him score zero?

Jud Heathcote scolding Michael Ray in front of 9000+ fans on a regular basis mixed in with his allly-oop -Dunks has to ...wrank somewhere up there on the ...list.

Much as I love AJ, I have to go with Hayes. UCLA at that time were like the '27 Yankees. Weber wasn't even in the same ballpark. If I recall correctly they were on a run of 10 championships out of 12 years and I think it was Wooden's last year. To hold it that close was a minor miracle.

Again, the discussion involved whether Chuck Rhodes played for UM, and was in the Red Book. He did and he was so listed. But you just had to keep saying he didn't, wanted to talk about some guys named "Roades", and had to keep being a dick about it too. Do you admit that Chase Reynolds has no clue who you are, even though he claimed you knew him?

I said "Rorie scored 22 on a Monday night". I was referring to his game against NC on Feb. 25. He did score 22. I said nothing about a "final home game". Do you really think anyone who follows the team didn't know Rorie scored 22 on that Monday night.

I'm going with Rorie, as best game of combined defense and offense. Feel free to provide more info on the defense on some of those great offensive performances.
