Got home last night and must say I never encountered any game day problems. Good jawing and the like but nothing one shouldn't expect from a Montana State - Montana game. Had a good time :thumb: The Great Falls tailgate was well presented.

Had a great time jawing back and forth with the kittie fans in the north endzone. We all kept it good-natured and slapped eachother on the backs when it was over. :thumb:

We had a great time in ole blowzman. We didn't run into one jerk, asshat or dipshit. I was actually quite surprised. My maroon truck wasn't burnt into a pile of rubble either. There was some ribbing, but when actually talking to folks, everyone would relate how their uncle was a Griz, or their wife went to the U, etc.

I had an older gentleman in the row in front of turn around and give me the take that after the punt return for a score. I told my son that there was a lot of game left to play and by the way he never turner around again.
I had some great conversation with some cat fans sitting beside me and they were thankful to sit next to someone who had some football knowledge. I indicated to them they needed a big play and then the punt returned happen. I never said that again. We shook hands after the game and wished each other luck.
I do feel sorry for the older lady that was behind me that was only about 5 ft tall and had to look at my MT Griz jacket the whole game. I think she was about ready to cry at the end of the game. She was a real fan and you could tell what the game meant to her.

I remember sitting in the end zone at the 1969 Griz-Cat game, when Frank Kalfoss missed the field goal that would have won the game for the Cats. My mom and I were, I think, the only Griz fans in that corner of the stadium. The people around us were great ... very sad, but polite and, even if they didn't really want to be, congratulatory. I was never so happy to be a Griz fan!!!! That's the last time I was in Bozeman for a Griz-Cat game.
