last year. Gonzaga can fly to Poland to recruit players. Tinkle has to go out and solicit $80,000 in money games, if he wants a few extra bucks thrown at his program. Good luck actually keeping him another three years.
My money is on Wayne Tinkle honoring the 3 years. He only leaves if offered a major conference job.
I think some people are taking for granted how strong Wayne is committed to a few things.
(1) His family loves Missoula, and he legitimately wants to see his last child finish High School in Montana.
(2) He loves the challenge at this level, and bleeds more GRIZ Blood than any GRIZ Men's Basketball coach, ever. He actually believes he can build a national program here.
(3) He has unfinished business at the U of M.
(4) He is committed to knowing the closet is full, when and if, he leaves.
Honestly, there is so much more to Wayne, and his family , than riches. For anyone that doubts where, and how I come up with these kind of opinions of him, and his family, I challenge you to get to know the man, personally, and professionally. Yes, I admit, I am arguably his biggest fan, so I am biased. :thumb:
