Heartbreaking loss last night for Tim and his Dublin teammates, as they lost, 53-51, in the North Coast Section leading to Nor Cals before the State Tournament which will be held at Golden One Arena in Sacramento, to De LaSalle, the football power, on a last-second put-back shot. "Montana-bound Tim Falls" (which is the way the press has always referred to him) scored 13 points to lead his team.
I thought about going but wound up staying home, since the game was played in a packed-house at St. Mary's college. Instead, I looked for tweets from Tim's Dad, and when he didn't pass on the final score, I figured it was probably bad news--which I got this morning.
