Tickets, gates, consessions......

After standing in line at the north entrance for at least 30 frustrating minutes and no less than 2000 fans in line behind me we finally got to our seats and settled in for a much anticipated kickoff. Shortly after kickoff another fan showed up and claimed we were sitting in his seats that I have had since the stadium opened. Sure enough he had the same tickets we had, his were electronic and mine were printed. He was pissed but understood and found seats elsewhere. Sounds like the ticket office needs to get their $hit together. Halftime consession lines were ridiculously long and after standing in line for all of halftime I went back to my seat empty handed.
All that being said the game was awesome and I look forward to the rest of the season.
Did anybody else have a similar experience with tickets, gates or consessions?

I went into the gates right around 5:10 PM and got in within seconds and then made my way to the new beer garden, it was a great way to do it. They were probably 300 to 400 people in that beer garden so it was a great place to hang out before the game knowing that I was already in the stadium.

I share your concerns over the concession stand lines. I believe there are at least a couple large concession stands closed (I’m guessing UM is having troubles finding workers) and it really made for a challenging situation. I was in a line during halftime for at least 20 minutes and when it didn’t seem like it moved more than 3 feet I just left.

Lines in the south gate were already pretty long at 4:30, but moved along fast. We sit in the north end zone so we did notice only two concessions open, one at each end under the majestic plaza side. Same issue as all over in the private sector, no workers.
We come down from Kalispell as many do and from all over the state. I know this was a late game so most restaurants would be closed anyway so we did not even try. We stopped at a convenient store by our hotel and found it full of Griz fans buying junk food and any sandwiches they could find saying the same thing. Buying dinner because no one is open or closed due to staff shortage, sad. I get the staff shortage, you can only do what you can do.

I know staff shortages are a big game day problem. If no one wants the jobs, there's not much UM can do.
