I said Vidlak would do better in a system more focused on a pocket passer. Then again, the competition sucks. I'm pulling for him.

Hahaha seriously. They are playing one of the worst, if not the worst NAIA teams. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he finally found some success and is the starter at his 4th school. But let's not get it twisted, they are basically playing a high school team which is evident by the 70-0 halftime score.

I've never heard of the 'mercy rule' before, except in Montana High School football, long ago. I believe it was the 45 point lead at halftime rule. Glacier High School would have pummeled UNA last night, much worse than they pummeled the Bison, which was 28 to 3.

From ESPN+, future opponents Morehead State (live) and EWU (vs. Monmouth @7) play. Also, Western Carolina is playing but you need access to ACCN. Stephen F. Austin (Vidlak) also plays on ESPN+ @6. NDSU on ESPN/ESPNU.

Will be interesting to see how EWU holds up against a CAA team.
