I just got home...when i left sec 211 tonight i seriously felt like i played a game! i have a screaming head ache, my arms hurt from forearm bashes and i was totally exhausted! my brother and i were the only ones in our section laying it on the line like that, but i hope others feel how i do! That game was as intense as it gets and we did what great teams do on off nights...hang around and when it comes down to it YOU CLOSE! and thats what we did tonight...WE CLOSED!!! go griz, i cant wait till tomorrow...i still cant believe what i watched tonight...

oh buddy! ill tell ya what!..haha, when shawn hit that huge three, there was a stoppage in play...i went to say something to my brother and i could hardly talk cuz i was all choked up..haha! guess the intensity of the moment, and going bat shit crazy for 2 hours got to me haha
 
I agree, but I hope the attitude this team takes into tomorrow's game is being PISSED that they almost lost to a team with a losing record.

come on dude...EWU i think is a little better than their record indicates...and they are very athletic and had a great game plan to create mismatches down low...and cliff colliman was ON IT tonight..hitting crazy J's even when he was locked down...EWU play about the BEST game they could, and we closed em out when it counted.....i give kudos to EWU for playing well but so much credit to our guys for closing...
 
No, I'm not talking down EWU, I'm just saying I hope that relief isn't what the team feels. They need to get pissed.

Love you passion! I'd be lying if I said I've never gotten verklempt over sports. Hell, even listening to the old 1995 Seattle Mariners "Refuse to Lose" CD gets me teary eyed and goose bumpy!

alright, i got ya then...at one point i told my brother...i am feeling SO FKN INTENSE right now, i dont know how we can lose cuz the players have to feel that times ten!....i really think they are treating this as just another step....WE GOT THIS!

haha, oh ya, those do it every time..that...kurt gibson 88 WS, even though i was like 5 when it happen, just seeing it, knowing the magnitude of it .....even major leauge, haha "hayes rounds third, hes gunna try to score, the indians win it, the indians win it, oh my god the indians win it" haha lil choked up every single time lol im a sucker for great sports moments
 
ESPN box score says attendance was 5,563...I hope to see the place packed tomorrow night. I watched the game on Big Sky TV on my computer....(decent coverage, but I swore a lot when they would be showing the coaches and skipping the court action) ..and I'm still hoarse; tomorrow night on the sofa will hopefully be less stressful.

I wonder if that included the up to 1000 free students. Doubt it cuz I thought I had read that around 5000 all tourney passes had been sold by this morning. I think.

it looked to me to be about 5500..about where we were for the hawaii game..as far as asses in the seats...as far as intensity level when it mattered, better than last tuesday vs weebs

Weber could say the same thing. This tourney was THAT close to being PSU vs EWU for the Big Dance. How badly would THAT have sucked? :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :shock: :shock: :shock:
 
My mother-in-law almost died and made me miss the end of the game. I really should have made her wait to take her to the hospital.
